Del Maguey Mezcal Barril

Del Maguey Barril Mezcal is crafted from 100% maguey barril. The jimadors must wait up to 20 years before they can harvest barrel agave. Afterward, the piñas are roasted in the ground for 4-5 days, then milled by hand to extract their juices. This liquid is naturally fermented in wooden vats for 15-25 days, and then double-distilled in clay with bamboo tubing.
