A 37-year-old Dictador Rum, aged in whisky barrels, and finished in new French oak barrels at Château d'Arche, Bordeaux. Bottled at 45% ABV, it offers a complex blend of marzipan, dried apricots, cloudberry marmalade, maple syrup, milk chocolate, and crème brulée. After the initial burn subsides, the rum's natural flavors take over, finishing off with a balanced supple golden fruit cake with a hint of toast. Smooth and supple.
