Cotija Cheese is also known as the "Parmesan of Mexico," Cotija is a semi-hard aged cheese with a strong salty flavor. Cotija Cheese is white, salty and granular, and similar in flavor to Feta Cheese. It softens but does not melt when heated. Cotija cheese can be grated, crumbled, or sliced and are great as a topping for corn on the cob, guacamole, beans, tostadas, sopes, tacos, or mixed into your salad dressing or soup.
