Description If you want to add pepper to your light-colored foods without ruining their appearance, look no further than ground white pepper. From the same plant as traditional black pepper, white peppercorns are allowed to fully ripen before they’re picked and soaked to get rid of the outer hull. This seasoning is commonly found in Mexican cooking. It's also used to flavor mashed potatoes, fish, chicken, eggs, cauliflower, and cream sauce without adding unsightly black specks.
