The Ultimate Nacho Recipe Guide

A great, quick and versatile snack, nachos are perfect for sharing with friends or enjoying while watching sports or your favourite Netflix series. For the standard recipe, it's a bed of tortilla chips, covered in cheese or salsa. However, it can be customised with a variety of flavours and toppings if you fancy being more adventurous.

Alternatively, layout your nacho's on an oven-proof plate and cover them with some of our unconventional, tasty suggestions: 

Asian nachos – combine roasted chicken and peanut sauce and spoon mixture on tortilla chips. Add cheese on top and cook. To finish, sprinkle with shredded carrots, green onions, and cucumber. Drizzle with some sriracha sauce and scatter with peanuts before serving. 

Italian inspired nachos – cover with a combination of sauteed beef and turkey, and a sprinkle of mozzarella before popping in the oven. Once ready, cover with salami, basil and tomato-garlic salsa – Bellissimo! 

Vegetarian nachos – with a delicious covering of hearty refried beans, plus toppings like roasted poblanos, a blanket of shredded cheese and tangy sour cream, no one will miss the meat! 

Breakfast nachos – these are perfect for breakfast or brunch with friends. Simply cook and brown some chopped chorizo in a large skillet and spoon over the chips. Then add chopped avocado, jalapeno peppers, salsa, and cheese before topping with fried eggs and a sprinkle of pepper! Delicious!
