Seeking the world's longest-aged tequila, master distiller Enrique Fonseca crafted this cuvee using copper double-column stills for a leaner structure. 1988 agave plants were harvested in late 1993, distilled into the new year, and aged in February of '94. Aged a decade at a dry, earthen-floor in Atotonilco el Alto, this tequila was moved to Chapingo, Jalisco for 11 more years, before finally bottling in 2014. 180L Canadian w. oak barrels (used for saw Canadian rye whiskey) and one that had stored white wine from California, were the casks of choice.
