Machetazo Salmiana Mezcal is made from wild Salmiana agave in the state of San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Unlike most mezcal, the agave used in Machetazo Salmiana Mezcal is cooked through vaporization, then crushed by a tahona (mill), and fermented in masonry-stone tubs, lastly, the agave is single-distilled in a copper bell still.
