Mezcal Union Viejo uses maguey Espadin from farms & wild maguey Tobala. Due to Tobala's scarcity, this mezcal is rarer than Union Uno. The "El Viejo" name pays tribute to the man who informed Union creators that the perfect mezcal would have to be a "union".
